Is this supposed to be an excuse for Inter Milan misfortune last season? I don't think so because their performance in the final never show they were so focused. What happened in the end, focusing on champions league and then lost both the league and UCL eventually. That's not the champions way of doing things. The likes of Madrid, PSG and others are not using magic to do it, Inter Milan is not forbidden from do it too. You can not forfeit one for another and then lose both at the end. I'm not too impressed with how they start this season again but it's too early to start complaining now.

As usual, we will see teams that ultimately become inconsistent and experience a drop in performance when the halfway point of the season arrives. Many teams will be very enthusiastic at the beginning of the season and have tight competition. But with the busy schedule from various competitions, we will see most of the competing teams start to experience a decline in performance.

We can see that last season, Inter and Atalanta even scored more goals than Napoli. But unfortunately, they lost by a margin of 1 point. If Inter can remain consistent throughout the season to keep winning, they will be one of the strong contenders for the Serie A trophy this season.
