It seems to me that it is much more important to exclude such a concept as "losing a large sum of money" than to take a break every time after that. You can take a break whenever you want, during the holidays, or when you have a heavy workload and you can't be distracted, there can be many reasons. Or you can take a break just like that for no reason, just because now you wanted to take a break from this and took a break for a month or more. If you play for fun, then this will not affect anything, because you do not count on profit from gambling, and you may not even lose the money that you could lose.

I understand your point mate, I don't gamble often because of my tight schedule at work. So, I wouldn't call it a break because assuming I am less busy, I might decide to gamble. I have a budgeted amount for my gambling activities which makes it easy for me to spend less funds whenever I am gambling. However, when I haven't understand how to manage my bankroll, if I miss use it all in a section. I go on break till the next month when it's refill.
