It is quite unfortunate that many countries do not appreciate their teachers enough for the services that they render to the country. You find that in some countries teachers rank among the lowest paid even though their job is one of the most important in nation building. The discouraging pay for teachers in this countries, is a major discouraging factor for other individuals who are younger and have a passion for teaching but will not seek to consider it because they know that the pay for it will not be enough or sufficient to sustain them considering the high cost of living, and hard economy. For that purpose we keep having a reduce number of available teachers yearly thus affecting the educational sector and in the long run affecting the economy of these countries. Countries where teachers in all sectors are properly recognized and paid will have a good economy because they will be doing their jobs properly.
