The irony is that United invested everything in forwards this summer (United: Šeško, Mbeumo, Cunha - 229m) and still, 0 non-own goals in the league despite 30 shots. None of the defensive midfielders are brought in, midfield is overrun (literally Fulham formed a 3v2 by simply replicating the back three of Amorim). The flashy front line will continue to shoot out since they are making hasty, poor quality opportunities without correcting the spine
I'm actually surprised why these three players were willing to join Manchester United even though they were being fought over by other, more promising clubs. Basically, Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, and Matheus Cunha are undoubtedly very talented players. They've proven their potential and significant contributions at their previous clubs. However, at Manchester United, it could be because their tactics aren't quite right or something else. Clearly, this keeps happening: great players fail when they join Manchester United and will be even worse after leaving.
Anyway, Chelsea is now also in talks with Garnacho from Manchester United, one of those potential players, but he also failed at Manchester United. A £40 million fee package, contract for a 7-year deal, wow.
