I've never used brave and I don't think I'm going to be using it anytime soon. As for annoying ads DNS can help sometimes.
DNS will not be able to block all
the ads,
especiallyit can not block the ads that
isare directly on the website that you are visiting, but it can block other ads which are from different domains
, although they are the most common ads.
To be able to block all the ads, including the one from the site (like the ads on YouTube), you will need ad blockers like uBlock Origin. uBlock Origin is very useful in blocking all the ads.
For the ads that DNS will block, go and enable the ad blocker on your browser to know if the ads are blocked. They will be blocked if you use common browsers like Opera, Firefox and some other ones.
Brave browser can also block all the ads
like uBlock Origin but if we are discussing about privacy, Brave browser is anti-privacy browser on its own although it can block all the ads, even the ones from sites like YouTube.
I know this because it has been discussed before on this forum and I tested it but after months of not using the browser, I deleted it.
