That's what I checked out first and I tried the sweep but ran into some error like code 4 and looked into some resources but can't seem to identify what the problem is
I recently swept 2 myself: scan the QR with a phone camera, sweep the privkey in Electrum (
--testnet4) (on a desktop).

And one coin per QR? That's overwhelming for me.

It's testnet. Who cares

I get it, but why are some people doing that when the testnet coins have no value.

Testnet coins should be abundant but they're not. When actually using testnet for testing, it turns out to be a lot of work to get small amounts for different coins:
