When did Tottenham even make an offer for him?
I must have missed that part. Because I have only seen rumours linking him with Chelsea. But they focused on the Garnacho deal instead.Great work by Tottenham though! Paying 60 million euros for him might seem risky maybe but he is really a talented midfielder. Still 22 years old too.
Haha almost all of us know that Chelsea is the team that is eyeing this player but somehow Tottenham managed to overtake, from my point of view maybe Xavi Simons would consider the competitor if he moved to Chelsea while at Tottenham he has a greater chance of being a starter in the lineup. From Tottenham's side I'm sure they are considering a long term investment as you said at 22 years old that means he has a future as the next star who knows, right?
Having failed to bring in Xavi Simons, Chelsea have now turned their attention to Garnacho, yeah this player is definitely the right alternative and reportedly Manchester United have agreed to a 45 million offer. Garnacho also has the same future as Xavi Simons but Garnacho will be under even more pressure at Chelsea especially to get a position as a starter.
