I don’t know why the board is still keeping Amorim. Perhaps they are still tolerating these poor results, even though that’s not really an excuse. But the fans seem fed up with Manchester United’s performance, especially after being so embarrassingly beaten by a fourth-tier team.
But they need to start thinking seriously about the future, as this situation is already quite dire for Manchester United. The club seems too complacent and overly optimistic, ignoring the reality that the team’s performance is declining and that the direction of their play shows no clear progress. Whether it means firing Amorim, Onana, or taking some other action, they must make definite and swift decisions as soon as possible to save the face of a team that is now being ridiculed by many.
They are not. Today there is a big meeting between Amorim and the club, and Amorim will ask for his leave and I think he is not going to even ask money, just wants to resign, and the team wants to sack. So for a team to not pay a manager termination money is a great feeling and they would be willing to let him go if he agrees to leave for free, and Amorim does.

Plus, it's early enough into the season that Amorim could wait, and see if anyone gets sacked, and he can go there. Considering Leverkusen started terrible, wouldn't be horribly funny if ETH ends up getting sacked in November or December because of bad results, and Amorim goes and joins Leverkusen, lol. All jokes aside, Amorim could end up doing something great in some other team.
