I know Real Madrid aren't yet performing the way we expect them to perform under Xabi Alonso guidance, but since Real Madrid have won their first two La Liga matches this season, I believe there's a positive progress in Real Madrid's performance, and when Real Madrid players fully understand Xabi Alonso's football, they will play with their strength and dominate La Liga and the champions league the way they used to.
We are taking our judgements from Xabi Alonso's past records for now since the season is still young and we need to see more of his performance in the league before jumping into conclusion. However, he has started well already with the two last matches played successfully. Coming from Leverkusen, he left a good legacy with them and I hope he brings his unbeaten steaks to the Real Madrid team also considering it's his Alma mater, he will love to work with passion to coach the players to deliver more
Hmmm, well wining matches against lay club is not a big thing. Despite the fact that Real Madrid has played against the club in the recent two matches and its result is also average. The Real Madrid team is not giving any special display which shows that they are not in dominant mode although Real Madrid team's attack is quite strong but unfortunately selfishness is due to individual performance all the players perform for themselves, not for the team, and this is the reason why Real Madrid performance is showing a lack.
If Xabi Alonso motivates these players for team performance, rather than individual performance then surely Real Madrid team can leave Barcelona behind in terms of performance.
