On the first match of the T20 series between Pakistan, Afghanistan and UAE, Pakistan had an easy win. Pakistan batting first made 182/7 where every batsmen played their part. Afghanistan chasing it had a decent start but their middle and lower order collapsed as they were all out in 143.

People do argue that Pakistan plays more games with weaker teams to boost their rankings and this T20 series justifies that. Even though Afghanistan still is a good team, it is not as strong during the last generation where they defeated big names. UAE too is on decreasing side with their teams ranking lowest among Associates in League 2.
We have to accept that Afghanistan is a very good team in T20s, but if you look closely, you will see that in today's match, Afghanistan lost their precious 6 wickets for 68-97. If a team loses 6 wickets for 29 runs, how can that team win the match after setting a target of 182 runs?
However, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan was able to perform somewhat better, but in the end, when Rashid Khan was dismissed for 39 runs, Afghanistan was all out for 143 and Afghanistan lost by 39 runs.
