Him been on the bench will totally depend on his performance for the team, if he performs well, Conte will use regardless of whether Lukaka is fit or not. If he doesn't perform well and Lukaku comes from injury to perform well then Conte will not hesitate to drop him off the starting eleven, it's just that simple. The coach cannot use because of his transfer fee to gamble with the matches he has ahead of him.
