2. You made a point.

its not the physical act of using solar that takes them out of the political game
its the mental act of choosing to not want to be part of society, whereby those that make the offgrid decision to not rely on society, dont want their names listed on bills and records.. those types of people dont want to vote, they dont want to be part of the system

theres a difference between those that choose solar/EV's for eco reasons. vs those that want to decouple themselves from society/politics


same with protests. even those that just want to peacefully protest and dont want anything to do with riots.. fif they go to protests all masked up and playing anonymous are the types that wontwant sign a petition, dont want to be logged as a statistic of opposition. basically they are just playing masquerade ball, dancing in public. and not really being part of a cause for change. its just their entertainment to just feel part of something without wanting to actually change things

public protest which has no legal push, is just theatre/drama.. which governments dont listen to.
the less they need to listen to, the less they need to change
