Definitely, trump's influence is the thing that causes the hype.
The presale was a massive success and I bet in the future the defi will have big amount of TVL as well. That's how much influential he is that even the project that gets invested by WLFI also getting the hype such as falcon finance.

The project only good 10m investment from WLFI and already getting 1.2 billion dollar TVL, compare this to other project with similar amount of funding and most of them only getting 200m max or 80m in average.
That's hype going on right there.
