Haven't these happened already? A couple of years ago, China and other countries banned bitcoin but people no longer remember those moments because of how quickly everyone who had doubts saw how bitcoin strived in those situations. The only reason why most countries are beginning to adopt bitcoin in exponential rates is because every attempt to try and stop bitcoin only led to more growth so they just joined the bandwagon instead.

TLDR: What happens if all countries banned Bitcoin? The network operates as usual. The chain moves forward through transactions.

China or any other country unilaterally banning bitcoin is completely different from the whole world joining hands to ban bitcoin completely. If that happens, the bitcoin network can still survive but to grow and become popular, I don't think that is possible. But the problem is, the scenario of all countries banning bitcoin will never happen because each country has different needs, visions and interests.

OP, this question might have been more relevant if asked 10 years ago, but it is no longer worth discussing now as governments have even joined the race to accumulate bitcoins.
