In my opinion, with the signing of Alexander Isak, Liverpool can automatically talk a lot when competing in the Champions League this season...
These two transfers just show how English teams are totally inflating the market because these transfer fees are ridiculous. Isak is a very good player, he's still relatively young, but 150 million euros is madness...
Yes, it's true, these figures are absolutely absurd, they only serve to inflate the market, and then, thinking about it, Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid cost me 90 million, I think, we were talking about one of the strongest players ever, while now they are taking normal players with a normal average, the standard
...Isak is a good player, no doubt, strong, quick, technically solid... but €150M !! That’s premium ,,Ballon d’Or contender,, money, not “solid striker with potential” money.
As for the market, it’s just what the EPL does.EPL cash keeps pouring in, clubs keep throwing silly money around, and everyone outside England just can’t compete . The Ronaldo comparison is spot on — back then €90ml broke headlines for a generational talent. Now it’s the going rate for anyone who can score 15+ goals a season.
Give it a few years and €200M for a top striker will probably look “normal.
