However, I don't think we should be too quick to speculate too much, as a newly promoted team shouldn't be able to pull off a surprise or compete for the top spot. I think Cremonese will be the same this season.
As for Jamie Vardy, there's no doubting his quality, but he's getting very old now, at 38, and he can no longer contribute to his full potential. Perhaps his experience alone can have a positive impact on the Cremonese players.
