It matters how we define long-term. More than 1 year is a long-term investment for me. From what I understand about investing, I don't think we need to hold for several years before taking our profit. In this volatile trend of Bitcoin, every pump is an opportunity to sell and earn money, while every drop is an opportunity to invest more. That is why I don't hold too much of my Bitcoin, as I take every single opportunity to earn regardless of time.

I'm not going to say that is the smart thing to do, but I believe that is the right system.
You are to do what works for you since you are more of a trader than a long-term hodler. One thing that I put into consideration when investing into bitcoin is the compounding effect of my portfolio and that has made me feel that selling your bitcoin stash within a few years not up to a complete circle is not that profitable compared to when you leave it for two circles or more.

However, we have a different perspective of why we are investing into bitcoin. Some love to trade it while others love to stack more sats overtime and hodli for theirthe future. Bitcoin should be seen as our normal fiat currency that we cannot do without. It should be a habit to hodli some coins all the time.
