Nope.. they already changed the format for the Men's T20 World Cup in 2024. If you remember, there were 4 groups of 5 teams each. India were placed in Group A, along with United States, Pakistan, Canada and Ireland. For the 2026 edition, it is going to be the same (4 x 5), and from what I heard it will be same in 2028 as well. The expansion will be implemented sometime after 2028. BTW, they expanded the ODI World Cup to 14 teams in 2027, from 10 teams in 2023 edition.

Yeah, i forgot about that but still it should have been 24 teams tournament atleast in T-20 format as plenty of teams are worthy to get in and they did hand out T20 status to everyone like a candy.

ODI is tricky for associates, most of them will gas out and run out of carrots with in half innings.
