When someone becomes overconfident in gambling, they tend to take excessive risks. At some point, when they take risks despite not having the ability to take risks, it starts to have a negative impact. In the case of gambling, I think this is the worst part. When I bet more than I can afford to lose that money, that will be the biggest loss for me. My worst day in gambling was the day I became aggressive to recover my losses.
