Can we really call that wasteful? the only problem that Barcelona has is their defense, their attacks are very effective. Inter Milan knocking out Barcelona in the Champions semifinals last season was just mere luck, if not both teams pull out a tough match and Barcelona had better chances of advancing to the finals but got weakened by the carelessness of their defenders. Barcelona is not wasteful in terms of goal scoring opportunity, is just that they create too many loopholes for their opponents to maneuver them most times, but their strikers are very active and makes good use of their chances. Atletico Madrid does not even have the stability to withstand Barcelona because looking at their performance as the season started, it doesn't look like they can really pull up a tensed match against Barcelona.
