They have not completely played the round 1 games, so it's impossible to predict who is going to humble Liverpool. From experience, a team that standout in the table isn't the most interesting team, urs the one that people don't see coming are the ones that do put big teams in place, as much as Liverpool is standing out in performance, I'm going to reserve how what they are going to do tomorrow but I will keep praising them when I see good things around them.

Manchester City are hurting me, this isn't what I expect from them. I know they have fumbled last season and didn't do well but seeing that Guardiola became united with his family and check-in of players and selling the ones that are not longer adding value, there should be some good moves but for now, it's nothing good to talk about. There is more time though, last season they had the worst run but towards the end they were in better place than those that were doing better than them.

The fans may have taken it for granted that Manchester City did not perform well last season because Manchester City had previously given the fans several consecutive titles in tournaments and also won the Champions League title, so a team that performs consistently like that can have a bad season. But if Manchester City's performance is bad as of last season, then Manchester City fans will not take it for granted.

The current Manchester City club does not have two of the best midfielders, but Pep Guardiola is still running the same strategy that he used to manage the team. I think this is where the manager is making the biggest mistake, before there was KDB in the midfield, who performed excellently in the midfield and created great ball for the strikers, but now he is not there, so the team will not succeed unless there is a different plan. If Manchester City performs poorly this entire season, then City fans may demand that their manager be changed.
