I just played a 12-game freeroll for the first time in my life (at least I don't recall playing it in the past). It was a fun and weird experience. I had to look up the rules for some of the games as I played it.
I had the same experience when I played the freeroll for the first time. There are some variants of poker that I'm not very familiar with, mostly because I've never played them and also never looked them up, and when I was playing a private freeroll, I think it was from a streamer, if I remember correctly. I didn't know that the game variant would keep changing, and I was surprised by it. I enjoyed the experience, but just like you, I was unaware of the rules and how some of the games worked, so it was also a bit confusing for me.

I late registered in the Mini Crumb [150 GTD], and made it into the top 5, but then a single mistake made me lose all my chips, and I got knocked out. My hand wasn't that good, but I tried to bluff, all of them folded except for one, and since he was just clicking "Check" every time, I thought he was bluffing too, but surprisingly, he wasn't.

He won with a three-of-a-kind.
