Time is the ultimate measure not money imo because money is relative not a fixed absolute. Betting according to money and how much feels enough is like trying to win a race on a treadmill. It will never be enough and you risk taking greater risk to feel the same as your previous wins did.
Treating Treat your gambling like a game, only allow so much time to play that game and take the money as a side issue not the whole purpose. Money is very ironic, I would avoid making it the centerpiece and gravity to your enjoyment of playing.
