Regarding the question of OP. Our forefathers had solutions to every problems and including the genotype related ones. But they made us forget about their solutions and embraced and believed nonsense.

No, that is not a thing here, nobody does that here in Latin America. People get married and have children and never get tested about their genotype, u less there is a very harmful hereditary condition or something like that, which is very obvious and needs to be taken care. I have heard it is something which is common in Africa, but here it is something pretty much rare, nobody pays attention to it and there is no reason to do so, here people pay attention to personally, career paths and the way others look, one does not need a laboratory test in order to know one can have children with a specific woman or not. It would be weird to have something like it introduced here.
