If money is infinite, then what else do you need to multiply, there will be no point in it. I once heard from a rich man, when he was asked why he continues to work if he already has enough money, and he asked, - why does an artist continue to paint pictures? The point is that he just likes to earn money, it is his way of life, he is not going to stop. Therefore, if you like gambling and the money is infinite, then you can play as much as you want, but I think that it can quickly get boring if there are no emotions from winning and disappointment from losing, if the money is infinite.

I completely understand the example with work, people indeed continue working even when they have more money than they need. And such drive is often not related to love of money, it's connected precisely to love of the work itself, because without constant activity a person becomes bored, loses purpose, and this ends badly. But I don't see how this example could be relevant to gambling, because I don't understand how gambling could be a lifestyle.
