Those who claim to be mentors, influencers and ambassadors of Bitcoin are a real menace on social media. They are the reasons newbie investors give themselves short term expectations of Bitcoin and call Bitcoin a scam when these expectations are not met. I just wish the crypto community on social media can be regulated because of the numerous misleading information from both Bitcoin enthusiasts and critics of Bitcoin who either tell lies about Bitcoin or give over exaggerated information just to excite clueless people.  Well, it's impossible for the crypto space on social media to be regulated. So, each and everyone of us who know the truth about Bitcoin should not fail to give honest replies to those who come to us for help.
In the media, you will always encounter things like that. We cannot dictate the awareness of others to do what we think is the same. As beginners, those who are interested in Bitcoin and Crypto should seek accurate information.
It's not just about following what they see from influencers. I think it is not difficult to find the right information. It only takes a little effort to enhance your knowledge, and you will not be trapped in wrong thinking.
Yea, they should seek accurate information, but how will a Newbie be able to differentiate between the information that is accurate and the ones which are inaccurate? A good percentage of newbies often make mistakes due to the inaccurate or incomplete information they get. This and many other reasons are why we advice newbies to only invest what they can afford to lose. To me, this is the most accurate and helpful information they should find on the internet. If they get into trouble, it should not be their life's savings they will be losing. With experience, they will know better.
