England made a good come back in second ODI after losing the first ODI in awful manner. When South Africa finished their innings at 330 runs in 50 overs, it looks like England will lose second ODI also. But English team surprised everyone by making 325 runs. Root and Butler both scored 61 runs for their side. England needed 16 runs in last over by that time 9 wickets have gone down and they don't have any recognised batsmen on the crease. Yep, In the 2nd ODI game SA defeated Eng by a small margin. South Africa was to bat first whose batting lineup played their role as they could. South Africa's solid start gave them an intital push towards victory and moreover their middle order completed the struggle left. Middle order players were the main base for South Africa to make a huge target. Howver the Bowling side by England wasn't left behind they knocked out 8 players of South Africa damaging the consistency. South Afrcia ended with with a 330 runs target. England lost some early wickets. Their top order players wasted many balls but scored very small runs ss compared to balls wasted which resulted as a defeat. The top order couldn't make it enough to take a strong start. All the struggle was made by middle order who chased the target till 325 runs but lost this game by just a narow gap.
