It was a big surprise to know that Sri Lanka got out in just 18 overs after scoring there second lowest total in T20I. Seven of Sri Lanka batsmen were not able to make it to double figure today and that's why Sri Lanka failed to give a fighting total. If Zimbabwe can keep giving performances like that then surely they will qualify for T20 world cup some day.
The match will be a very memorable match for Zimbabwe. But if you analyze the match, you will see that the Zimbabwean batsmen are also as unsuccessful as the Sri Lankan batsmen in today's match because after batting for just 80 runs, Zimbabwe had to bat for about 15 overs and five of their batsmen got out. Sri Lanka performed incredibly poorly. The highest run scorer was Kamil Mishara he got only 20 runs and captain Asalanka was dismissed for just 18 runs. Kamindu Mendis, the hero of the previous match was dismissed for 0 runs off four balls. The Zimbabwe bowlers did well to take wickets consistently. You are right that this match will be memorable for the Zimbabwe team but this win was important for them. I was surprised that a strong team like Sri Lanka they are ranked seventh in the ICC rankings, lost the match by losing all their wickets for just 80 runs. Zimbabwe team had lost the first match by four wickets so they were able to take revenge by winning the second match.
Before the series started I was not very optimistic about the
