Barcelona performance has dropped this season compared to last season. There's too much selfishness in their game now, players chase individual awards over team victories which team success should be their primary goal. I believe they still have that ability to play like they did last season, but they need to change their mindset and work together as a team. In their last game, Barcelona was unable to maintain the lead and ended up in draws because they truly missed Inigo Martinez at center back, which led Hansi flick to make bad rotations from that defense. They were even lucky to end up in a draw because they deserved to lose. I am confident that Atletico Madrid will recover as well, but I am not pleased with their starting performance, because if f La Liga is competitive like the Premier League, Atletico Madrid will need to fight hard and struggle before they can reach the top, which may not even be possible in some cases.
The moment players stop working together to achieve a certain goal thats when things would start to go wrong...The decline in Barcelonas performance is evident and it's obvious that something is differently wrong with them currently..The last game would have given them a boost if they had won that game but unfortunately they couldn't...The season is still early it's possible for them to make adjustments
The players should not be selfish by only thinking about themselves at least they also think about the fate of their club, if they only pursue individual awards this is not at all fun if the club has to experience a decline while the players want to get awards, indeed individual awards are a source of pride in themselves but if the process only relies on selfishness it is not fun but if the club is successful and able to work together well it creates its own pleasure and pride in being in a club that achieves success together.
