Gambling doesn't stop you from having a successful life, there are many successful people that are still gamblers. This is my exact sentiment here sir, and I think that you have practically said it all, what most folks fail to understand is that gambling is something that should be done for fun not taking it as a source of income, and yes, their are few people in the society that abuses it, but should that be enough reason for government to contemplate baning it? Any baninig only fuels interest and confrontation. I don’t see the point of such prohibitions, in reality, those who played will continue to play online using a VPN, and they won’t be protected from fraud. A more reasonable approach would be to impose proper regulation of the process. That way, the government can replenish its treasury with taxes from the gambling business, and gambling enthusiasts won’t have to go looking for trouble on the internet.
