What you're saying is not a bad idea, it would be very much appreciated if an investor can keep hodling for a period above 6 years, but then every investor have a target and when one has accumulated to their target, so far it's more than a circle the person can decide to take some portions and still continue accumulating.

When the investor would be wrong is when they take all profit after reaching their target, bitcoin would keep doing better, probably, so it's not a good idea to take all profits after reaching your target, even though you've invested for a decade or two.
