Last season Atletico did fairly we only that they still do not have that quality in their depth, they still struggle to give the team that form that will position them strategically for a wey contending chance, the kind of strength they are know for much earlier was such that would not make Villarreal a problem to them of which I do not think really is at this point except for the few times they are not in their best shape and form but the coach also got some assignments to do if the team must get back solid.
If Atletico Madrid continue with the way they have performed in the last three matches, they will not win against Villarreal. Atletico Madrid have failed to win against Espanyol, Elche and Alaves. And these three teams are among the weakest teams in La Liga. Atletico Madrid cannot play well against such teams. On the other hand, Villarreal is in great form, as we have seen in their first two matches. So my guess is that the match will either be a draw or Villarreal will win. I do not see the possibility of Atletico Madrid winning.
