Afghanistan is a strong T20 side and everyone was expecting a good competition in the final but things went just one sided. Afghanistan bowlers did good work to restrict Pakistan to 141 but when Afghanistan came out to bat there batting collapsed due to Muhammad Nawaz bowling. Nawaz got 5 wickets and gave away just 19 runs in his 4 overs. The whole Afghanistan team got out on 66 runs beacuse none of there batsmen was able to stay on pitch and score runs.
The target of 142 runs for Afghanistan in the T20 was not a big collection at all. They bowled fairly well and restricted Pakistan to a reasonable one run. But the Afghan batsmen could not bat well at all. As a result, they were all out for 66 runs in 15.5 overs. Pakistan bowled brilliantly in every over. No one gave more than five runs per over, and Mohammad Nawaz took an important 5 wickets. Also, Sufiyan Muqeem, Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each.
We all expected the final match to be great because Afghanistan is not a small team in T20 and they had enough capacity to fight with Pakistan, but the match did not gather momentum due to the batting failure of the Afghans.
