A disappointing news for the people of India. Sportsbet is going to close its operation in India for the new gambling laws which have been recently passed by the Indian parliament. I have also received this email while I'm not from India. I reached the support team and they informed me that my account is going to be closed as my registration country is India. Maybe it has happened as I was using a VPN in the early days. However, they have suggested me to create a new account as I'm not from India.
Really terrible treatment they are doing to indian players
Any promos started before that decision are also not being paid out... the weekly promos for esport and US open started on monday september 1 before they made this india decision but they will not honor those promos anymore, even though they ended before their deadline of 8 september
All this treatment for india players when other restricted regions play freely using vpn...we are not a potential market for them anymore so they can do whatever they want..
Never thought i would talk about sportsbet.io like this but they are behaving like most other scummy sites now...
