Liverpool’s performance hasn’t been particularly impressive, but it hasn’t been poor either-- we could say it’s been fairly good, though not quite at the same dominant level as last season. This may be down to it still being early in the campaign, with the team working to rediscover their best form amid strategic changes and the usual challenges of player rotation that big clubs face.
Even so, I’m confident they’ll raise their level as the season progresses. With a strong squad that includes Isak, Florian Wirtz, Frimpong, Ekitike, and Kerkez, and it just takes Arne Slot to figure out the best strategy for them to achieve the same level of performance as last season.
Liverpool is never in any season going to play fanciful football, their only goal is to win. Strikers are built over there to work strongly with the central back and midfield. Which helps
in ball distribution to the opponent's side. Slot will have a strong time
in choosingpicking who would replace who because all his strikers are effective, the forward line with Isak and Sallah is sufficient to take them far again.
However, other teams won't just let
them takethe reds hold sheer dominance this season. Team competition and efforts tripled, the small or underdog teams are not to be underestimated too.
