Yes, you are right there is a large number of people who are greedy and their greed has no end. there is a very small number of people who pay gratitude and feel satisfied for what they have. greed is only based on the thoughts of having more. It goes out of limits when we never teach ourselves to be grateful. The perfect example of a greed which never ended has in the minds of our government.
Then compare the total employees who work for your government and total population living in your country, which one is larger?

I believe more than 50% people grateful with the way they have and they can feel satisfied because if most people can't be grateful, that means the gap between the rich and poor is small. People who're very rich need a lot of poor people, this is the nature.

You see 10,000 people are watching international concert, yeah there are "many people", but you forget if there are 1 Billion of people sitting in their home scrolling their cell phone.
