I got really worried over the habit of some friends who are into betting or gambling and how they often stake into a game in a week more than what they earn even in a month and most time are not able to get it back in a couple of plays. So it got me really worried and concerned

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
The best advice I believe is to tell the simple truth about being a responsible gambler. You should advise them to only gamble with an amount they can afford to lose and how there gambling habits maybe causing there family problems, also gambling is not an everyday thing. Gambling is not a necessity so you can explain to them with evidence how much they can be able to save if they can limit there gambling habits . Because  this addicted gamblers are blinded by gambling addiction so they won't really see how much they are losing.
