Curiosity can bring someone back to gambling, even after they've stopped. Just trying it once more can easily pull them back into full addiction, returning them to their old habits. What would one be curious about on gambling after playing so much and getting addicted? Surely, after having successfully pulled through from the strong grip of addiction, one would have known all there is to know about the what and what not to do concerning gambling.
Sadly, a lot of people do initially get on the road to get free from addictions grasp only to take a U turn back into it's open arms. It all has to do with determination as well as the discipline to follow through to the end.
