Why did you give out your number? You can easily avoid any scam attempts but it can lead to people you do not know to be spamming you. Try to avoid it next time. Do not give out your phone number.

This is also no more new on this board. I think we should have a single thread for it. Or what do you think?
I'm sure op did not give out his number to the p2p vendor. It looks like the p2p vendor got op contact number from his account. Thesedays people use Opay, palmpay, kuda and other account number that from your contact number. If op made a P2P trader with his phone number as his account number, the p2p vendor might chat him through the fintech bank.
This is also possible but OP has already posted about it. Try to read what other OP post before posting something like this.

It's just that most times if you want to initiate a Sell trade on Bitget, vendors usually ask for phone numbers as part of their rules before executing a trade with you. Most especially if the fund is sent and the person isn't online the confirm and release the coin. So thats why I had to give my phone number out. But it's just that  none has ever chatted me before, because I'm always online, as this happens to be my first scenerio since the vendor was delaying to make payment

That's true, maybe within the few minutes that I was using to type, op had already posted it so I didn't know that op have already said it earlier. While I wanted to post what I typed, I got a message, new replies has been posted. So maybe that was when op posted it. Thank you for the information.
