Possibly this is what he is referring to. Coinbase users are strangely having phishing attack more than other exchange ma users. I think Coinbase customers data were hacked and seen and known by hackers is the reason.

The coins are not stored on the wallet, it is stored on blockchain. Noncustodial wallets have the keys and addresses stored but the coins are stored on the blockchain with the help of the private key and which it can only also be used to spend the coins but the coins is actually on the public ledger which is blockchain.
