Hansi Flick proved himself last season, so there's no doubt about his performance this season. However, I think the numerous injuries will have a slight impact on the team's performance, even though there are adequate substitutes. I think things will be a little different.
This season, Barcelona is riding high on confidence after winning the title. What happened at the start of the season can't be used as a benchmark. I'm still quite optimistic that Hansi Flick will be able to bring Barcelona success again this season, possibly even better than last.
Last season was supposed to be the best season for Hansi Flick as the Barcelona coach because the team was on fire they were supposed to win the champions League of not the sudden defeat they got from Inter Milan would later couldn't stand PSG in the finals. Looking at the way things are going this season Hansi Flick will have some challenges in the team like injury and some of the players going out of form but he has already proven himself to be a good coach in his first season so the team still believes in him to deliver a better performance for them this season.
Barca fans have high expectations for Hansi Flick this season. Despite having high hopes of winning the Champions Trophy last season, they came very close and failed to live up to expectations, but their expectations have been met in La Liga and their preparations for this season are very good. Barcelona have not yet been able to deliver the kind of great performance that was expected from them this season and in the last match against a relatively weak team Rayo Vallecano they played a very low quality of football which I did not expect from them.
I also admit that it may not be right to judge a team performance based on one or two matches. Barcelona are in a much stronger position than Real Madrid this season although Real Madrid is still at the top of the points table, I expect Barca to be able to confirm their strong position as a traditional team.
