I accept and respect the opinion, but you must be missing my point. I don't care what anyone believes. My thread is created in the Meta board, specifically because it addresses the fact that I don't think the gender is relevant with the forum by any means. The basis of my question isn't to start a converstion regarding whether there a 1,2,...X genders, it's just to point out that it has nothing to do with the forum.

So, I understand that your opinion is to put a "prefer not to say" in the dropdown. That's an option as well.
