We had expected Pakistan to win this match, but I especially expected that since Pakistan was batting first against Oman, their score would be close to or above that, but Pakistan ended their innings in 160.

However, apart from Pakistan's batting performance, their bowling line-up performed very well, as expected, Oman would bowl them out before they reached 100 runs. However, by winning this match, Pakistan put themselves in a stronger position for the next round.

It is sad but true that there will be matches between weak and strong teams where they will have to lose by a margin of 93 runs. At first, I thought that maybe Oman would play well against the target of 161 runs, but even if they lost, they would not lose by a large margin, but that was wrong and they ended up being all out for 67 runs and losing by a big margin of 93 runs. However, in most of the group stage games, where a strong team will play against a weak team, there will be a high chance of losing by a large margin.
