I am curious what is the one thing that you will never bet with? I am not talking about life because I think almost everyone will say that already but instead I am talking about other things. Like your house, your car or maybe some weird thing like your favorite shirt or the mug your father gave you. Those kinds of things. It would be interesting to see how people value different things within the metrics of gambling.
Never would I bet my dignity, honor, and other things that make human life worthy of living.
Money is not all that important as people seem to assume. In fact, I would go as far as to say that a rich man is nothing but a collector. The truly valuable things in life should never be given away, especially not on some bet.
One of the things you mentioned (mug from your father) is a good example. An gift from a beloved family member has far more value than any amount of money.
