The casino mentioned here just paid 30.000 EUR which is a irrelevant amount or even ridiculously low amount to these cryptocurrencies reputable casinos

Bruh, it's right in the title, it's 30 million! There are a ton of casinos here that aren't doing this in a month in deposits not profits!

Remember when everyone here said that casinos are just taking your money when a glitch happens, but never pay up for it?

I've overheard a talk today on this topic between some of my colleagues and their conclusion was that it's probably a commercial stunt.
The loss was far from unbearable and it helps their image much more than any advertisement. They'll earn that money back in no time and they benefit now from this.

Way to expensive as a commercial stunt in my opinion.
The only explanations as an outsider that I can think about are:
- The game provider is going to take the loss for this
- their books are cooked so badly it's better to pay out rather than letting someone sniff in
