Its a surprise that they ended up winning after rayo dominated game for a while...I hope they can perform this way against real Madrid because athletico is really going through lots of ups and downs this season...I checked their position on the board and it wasn't really like the same team we used to know..I hope they bounce back and make up for their lapses soon...if they really hope to defeat real Madrid they need to do better

It was a truly dramatic victory, and Atletico Madrid deserved to win this match. Although they struggled at first, they eventually turned things around and secured all three points. However, in their next match against Real Madrid, I'm not sure Atletico Madrid can beat them with their current form, but they can try to avoid defeat or at least get a draw, so they can still be considered a strong team in La Liga, competing at the top.

With Real Madrid's strength this season, they will likely be working hard to close the gap on Barcelona, so I think Real Madrid will try to exploit Atletico Madrid's weaknesses this season to secure all three points.
