"The poorest of the poor" likely lives hand to mouth. A person who lives like that can barely afford to eat
two good mealsone hearty meal in a day. Asides feeding, there would be other bills or expenses that would need to be taken care of. How then can such an individual put money aside for savings? No matter how set your mind is on saving, if you don't have to save, you simply don't have.
To be able to effectively have some savings, it's best to try and increase your income. That way, after expenses, you'll certainly still have some money left to put away.
