I don't really understand your argument here, because the both words are similar in meaning in this context. I don't think an investor is wrong if after holding his Bitcoin for let's say the 10 years you are talking about, look at his portfolio and say wow, after investing certain amount during the period that this is the profit in my investment so far. If by that 10 years he spent like $10k in accumulation and his Bitcoin value rise to $25k is he subtracts the $10k invested won't the balance be called profit? This your argument is baseless truth be told.

Profit and the increase in the value of an investment asset are essentially the same. Essentially, it's the return on investment. So, I don't think we need to debate this, as the primary purpose of investing in Bitcoin is to increase our money, or to prevent it from being eroded by inflation. I believe that's the goal, so there's nothing wrong with either term. With that in mind, I don't think we need to focus solely on profit or the value of our current Bitcoin assets. It's better to focus on accumulating Bitcoin. For those still in the accumulation phase, I believe focusing on financial management is better for maintaining consistency in Bitcoin investment. When it comes to profit, I don't think it's worth worrying about. If your Bitcoin investment is going well, you'll undoubtedly gain profits. So, don't get distracted by a mere debate over terminology.
