There's literally been no record of consistency for Napoli IMO. When a team doesn't provide every player with their matchable replacement, that's what they get.

Ac Milan had majority of the control throughout the game, which made Napoli struggle through just to keep possession. The very first goal was avoidable, but because of a weak defensive strategy, they could not fall back in place to keep the ball away. I also loved the last sway kick from Neres in the last minute; didn't do too much harm from that angle, but it would have been a record breaker if it were a goal. Napoli needs to sit up seriously.
Wait, let me get something right, did uyou said Napoli have been inconsistent? How are they inconsistent, this is a team that played 38 league matches last season and suffered just 4 defeat in the league, a team that won 24 of their 38 league matches and draw only 10. There were the best team in the league last season and even this season in my opinion they are still the best in the league. At least they lost to a big side yesterday.

Again you said AC Milan controlled more of the game yesterday, like how? Or did I watch a different game. Napoli had almost 70% of the possession, and even before the red card they were dominating. They were practically unlucky not to win yesterday, they had more chances and even more shot on target, so I still don’t understand what you mean by AC Milan dominated the game.
