I am starting to cozy up to this fight card too.
Thought I wouldn't because it is another rematch and these usually play out the same way as the first fight went, but for some reason this one just feels different. Pereira certainly has a chance with the intense way he is training and what he has endured in his life. He has learned from defeat in his past and survived to bounce back stronger than ever. That is the mantra of his life.
Has Alex Pereira been training hard for this fight or has he been wasting time like previously? That's my question. I have no idea about this because I haven't seen his social media profiles. If he was serious about this fight and he was really training hard for it, then I'm sure he will win this fight. In this interview, he confirmed what I said, so I'll believe his words. I bet on Pereira anyways, I can't do it otherwise.
I think that Pereira will be more risky this time. He will land shots and he will try to knockout Ankalaev. I think that he isn't afraid of his wrestling anymore because Ankalaev couldn't take him down and Pereira was too defensive and focus on not being take down in the previous fight.
Watching the usual UFC Embedded series should answer those questions.
He has been going around with Nina Drama visiting spooky houses intime for the month of halloween.
Of course they show him training hard but it might be different for him this time since he knows how he lost the first fight.

As for the odds. here are where they stand currently with the weigh-ins still to be come:
